Super Charged Pomegranate Pistachio Smoothie Bowl

Some of my favorite ways in get in my super foods and veggies are in smoothie or bowl form.  I went on a big kick for quite some time on this and then got over it.  I think I maybe had one too many and then just strayed away from it for a year or two.  I stuck to green smoothies when I was pregnant and I think that saved me and balanced me out from all of my newly added carb intake!  Suffice to say, I'm back with the bowls and ready to bring some fun new varieties for this summer!

This particular bowl I added some potent super foods, plant protein and also managed to squeeze in some greens!  Super easy!  Just add to the blender, blend, top with your favorite toppings and enjoy!

Ingredients:

  • 2 scoops vanilla plant protein
  • 1 handful spinach
  • 1/4 cup pomegranate seeds
  • 1 tsp baobab powder
  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • 4 frozen strawberries
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp hemp seeds
  • 1/2 - 3/4 cup almond milk
  • 2 tbsp agave sweetener OR 2 dates

Top with 1 tbsp pistachios, pomegranate seeds & chia seeds.  Enjoy!
